  • Connect and collaborate with articulation professionals across California’s higher education segments.
  • Share promising practices, resources, and emerging issues.
  • Participate in CIAC regional and statewide meetings.

  • Exercise institutional voting rights through your designated representative.
  • Access CIAC member resources, including the member directory, communication channels, and shared resources.

Who Is Eligible?

CIAC membership is open to accredited colleges and universities in California, or institutions that are candidates for accreditation. Membership is held at the institutional level and supports participation by Articulation Officers and other personnel engaged in articulation, transfer, curriculum, and related work.

Each member institution is entitled to one vote. Institutions that have paid their annual CIAC dues are considered members in good standing and receive full membership benefits.

Membership Dues: Beginning with the 2026–2027 academic year, annual CIAC membership dues are $250 per institution. Membership dues support CIAC’s statewide work, including professional development and training, the annual conference, regional and statewide meetings, communications and member resources, and engagement with segmental and statewide partners. These investments strengthen California’s articulation community and support CIAC’s shared commitment to student transfer, credit mobility, access, and completion.

What Is Expected of CIAC Members?
